Great news to all J-1 Candidates who are planning to travel to the US this year the COVID Travel Ban for Foreign Passengers going to the USA be lifted in November.<\/p>

Opening the Country to More Visitors<\/h4>

Finally, the travel restrictions imposed by the Former US President Donal Trump for 18 months<\/a> will be lifted in November 2021 provided that passengers are able to present proof that they are fully vaccinated for COVID.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

This decision lifts the travel restrictions on previously tagged countries as hot spots like India, Brazil, United Kingdom, China, Iran, and South Africa.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

“Today we’re announcing a new international air travel system. This new system includes strict protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19 from passengers flying into the United States, protecting Americans and making international air travel safer,” White House COVID-19 Response Coordinator Jeff Zients told reporters during a virtual news conference.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

New International Air Travel System<\/span><\/p>

The United States, he said, with science and public health as its guide, has developed a new international air travel system<\/a> that both enhances the safety of Americans here at home and enhances the safety of international air travel.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

“Most importantly, beginning in early November, foreign nationals flying to the United States will be required to be fully vaccinated and they must show proof of vaccination prior to boarding a US-bound airplane,” he said.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Despite being fully vaccinated, travelers will still need to complete pre-departure testing (Swab\/PCR testing) within 3 days prior to departure to the United States and present Negative Swab test results to the Immigration.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

On the other hand, stricter guidelines are imposed on unvaccinated Americans returning to the US. They will need to have the COVID test a day before their departure to the US and another one upon arrival.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

With this, more travelers including J1 Visa Holders will be able to fly to the US and do international internships or training.<\/span>
