Four Seasons Resort & Residences Jackson Hole Live Recruitment Fair

Four Seasons Jackson Hole Live Recruitment Fair- June 29 & 30

July 12, 2023 By Experience Abroad

The recently concluded Four Seasons Jackson Hole Live Recruitment Fair provided opportunities for culinary and food and beverage applicants to learn more about the J-1 program under the partnered host company.

What happened?

Last June 29 to 30, 2023, Executive Chef Michael Goralski interviewed and met with students and candidates from different local universities, personally inviting them to participate in the J-1 program to help jumpstart their careers.

This event is one for the books, as this is the first Live Recruitment Fair under Four Seasons Jackson Hole after three years since the start of the pandemic.

Chef Michael Goralski, Four Seasons Resort & Residences Jackson Hole Executive Chef started the recruitment event with orientation.

The first day of the event was held at Baliuag University in Baliuag, Bulacan. The university showcased its world-class kitchen facility and its well-prepared students, who impressed Chef Goralski with their teamwork and dedication.

On the other hand, the second day of the event was held in Philcamsat in Makati City, with attendees coming from Lyceum of the Philippines-Cavite, University of Santo Tomas, Enderun Colleges, ICCT Colleges, and STI College Global City.

The event for each day started with an orientation led by Chef Goralski, which talked about the J-1 program and briefly introduced Four Seasons Jackson Hole to the attendees.

This was preceded by the kitchen test, wherein culinary applicants prepared one appetizer and one entree in one hour. Afterward, they presented their dishes to Chef Goralski and talked about how they prepared them.

The event concluded with the interview of Culinary and Food and Beverage applicants. Chef Goralski asked about their expectations about visiting the United States and how they are preparing for the J-1 Program.

It is safe to say that all expectations were exceeded as many applicants were successful in the recruitment process. Chef Goralski told us how he was happy with how the Live Recruitment Fair went and how the applicants were able to properly execute their tasks despite the lack of practical experience due to the pandemic.

We would like to congratulate the participants for an excellent job, and we wish you all the best as you prepare for your J-1 internship program at the Four Seasons Jackson Hole in the snowy state of Wyoming.
